About Sable
Drawing inspiration from the French word for sand – Sable…
The studio is a celebration of textural elements in warm, earthy neutral tones reminiscent of rugged coastlines and desert landscapes, bathed in an abundance of natural light.
We wanted the space to feel calm and inviting with a blank canvas for our clients to add their own style and personal touches.
Sable Studios is a collection of props, mementoes and ideas from travels and homage to lanscapes and places we've been.
Features
We are located on the first floor, 70 Georges St Upper, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire’s high street. We have rear acess and parking available behind the studio, through Impex Lane, off Park Rd besides The People’s Park.
Main studio is 80m2, bar and welcome area is 20m2, kitchen and small studio is 12m2, toilet and changing room are 5m2.
Our space features the following unique attributes:
- Exclusive use of the space.
- Hanging rails, hangers and steamer included.
- Filtered natural light, late morning or afternoons are best.
- For events, we have a bar / lounge area, in house DJ’s and vinyl turntable equipment.
- High speed 1Gb internet, with access to our ipad and curated Sable Studios spotify playlists, to keep your shoot flowing with great tunes!
- Easy access for deliveries, plenty of parking located behind our studio or on street parking out front.
- The People’s Park, Dun Laoghaire Baths, Sandycove Beach, The Forty Foot, beautiful Georgian streets and cool graffiti alleyways - all only minutes walk away for outdoor shots.
- Situated in the heart of Dun Laoghaire we have a multitude of cafes, bars, resturants and shops on our doorstep if you want to pop out for food, drinks or last minute props.
- All furniture can be removed to bring in your own. Everything can be moved around to suit your shoot.
- Toilets on the mezzanine level.
- Public Liability Certificate required for events and to be determined for larger scale shoots / productions.
